About 45 minutes from Thompson Falls, Montana, is one of the most stunning peaks in the entire state of Montana! You'll know when you get to the top of Driveway Peak, because there won't be anywhere else to go but back down. You will literally be on top of the mountain! Make sure to keep your eyes on the road for this drive, as it is easy to get distracted by the incredible landscapes that surround you. Or better yet, have someone else man the wheel so you can take full advantage of this breathtaking drive!

Once you are at the top of this spectacular peak, you may opt to follow the trail down an easily navigated rocky area, to a ridge that's sure to promise even more incredible views, not to mention the abundance of wildlife that live in the area. So don't forget your camera! You will definitely want to capture some shots of this awe-inspiring setting so you'll have a piece of it to take with you! You may also want to bring some snacks and beverages, because once you're here you won't want to leave for awhile! And by the way, have we mentioned how awesome this place is?

Directions to Driveway Peak from Thompson Falls:
From Main Street Thompson Falls, Montana, drive west through town, cross the Clark Fork River, then turn left (south) on Prospect Creek Rd.
Continue on Prospect Creek Rd for about 12 miles, till you see the 'Antimony Mine' sign on the right. Turn right, and follow the road that runs through the mine. There will be buildings on both sides of the road. Veer left, where the road climbs above the mine, and continue on. Follow the main road for about 9 miles, and be prepared for the most spectacular scenery you've ever seen!
